Anthony Brabin 5 Pankaj Advani 3

When Pankaj Advani the former World Amateur Snooker Champion and top Indian player turned up for his match against a Cypriot player he would have probably thought well this should be straight forward. But 3 frames later he might of had an awaking that the Cyprus Snooker standard is at its peek and players such as Anthony Brabin can beat any player on the amateur scene.
Brabin's 5-3 victory over Advani is his best ever result and a place in last 16 against another Indian player Kamel Chawia will give him a great chance to reach the quarter finals.
